To Unlock the Pump: STEP 1: Before trying to open the pump, first ensure the lid is fully tightened. Sometimes a loose lid makes the pump feel stuck when it's just not secure. Twist the lid tightly clockwise until it won't turn anymore. STEP 2: Turn the pump head counterclockwise by an approximate quarter turn while holding firmly onto the neck of the bottle.
