All the flavor and crisp of classic melba toast, but with whole grain goodness and earthy sesame flavor in every bite. Getting your whole grains has never tasted so good! Top with your favorite hummus or spread, sprinkle over salads or stir frys to deliver a satisfying crunch, dip into your favorite soup, or eat straight out of the box for a deliciously poppable snack. The Old London brand offers a wide variety of authentic, original, crunchy taste sensations available in melba toasts, melba rounds, bagel chips, flatbreads and other snacks. Old London is a great tasting snacking option for everyday eating or entertaining, and a satisfying snack with a crunch you can count on. It was 1897 when, concerned about health and her stylish figure, the talented opera singer Miss Nellie Melba sent the famed Parisian chef Auguste Escoffier back to the kitchen. Her complaint was that her bread was much too thick. Escoffier returned to Ms. Melbas table with a thinly sliced piece of toasted bread and promptly named it Melba toast in her honor. The first Old London Melba oven was built in 1932, leading to the development of the round Old London Melba Snacks.
