Extracted from a fruit rich in saturated short-chain fatty acids like lauric and myristic acid, murumuru butter shares quality similarities with the seed fat of the tucumã palm and coconut palm. However, its distinct advantage lies in providing greater consistency due to its higher melting point (33 C), surpassing that of the coconut palm (22.7 C). This superior quality enables the seamless blending of murumuru butter with other vegetable butters featuring a lower melting point.
