Harvest Our peanuts are grown in southern Egypt in Awaynat in an organic production chain established in 1986. The peanut is a plant whose fruits grow in the ground just like potatoes. Its location, at the edge of the desert and benefiting from underground water reserves, gives the peanut an exquisite taste! Grown on vast plots, it is pulled out and harvested mainly by machine and finally by hand to avoid losses. Processing Shipped to a processing workshop northeast of the capital in New Salhia, the raw in-shell peanuts are cleaned, sorted, then roasted before being shipped in large packages to our workshops where they are finally packaged in family bags. La récolte Nos arachides sont cultivées dans le sud de l'Egypte à Awaynat dans une filière de production biologique ayant vu le jour en 1986. L'arachide est une plante dont les fruits poussent dans le sol tout comme les pommes de terre. Sa localisation, aux portes du désert et bénéficiant de réserves d'eau souterraines confèrent à l'arachide un goût exquis ! Cultivée sur de vastes parcelles, elle est arrachée puis récoltée à la machine majoritairement et finalement à la main pour éviter les pertes. La transformation Expédiées dans un atelier de transformation au nord-est de la capitale à New Salhia, les arachides en coque crues sont nettoyés, triés, puis grillées avant d'être expédiées en grand conditionnement vers nos ateliers où elles sont finalement emballées en sachet familial.
