CLINICAL USE

Neurodegenerative

Aß induced a significant decrease in the antioxidant power (FRAP value) of the hippocampus and borage prevented the decrease in hippocampal antioxidant status.1.

Antioxidant

Oral administration of BO significantly improved serum levels of liver enzymes, lipid profile as well as serum and hepatic GSH and MDA levels (p 0.001) when compared with unirradiated rats 15 days after irradiation.2.

Antinociception

Our findings demonstrated that hydroalcoholic extract of Borago Officinalis flowers has antinociceptive effects.3.

POSOLOGY: Recommended oral dose of 1 5 ml internally for the protection of general health.
