Anthelmintic

Pumpkin seed extracts can be used to control gastrointestinal (GI) nematode infections.

Bph

One group received 0.4 mg tamsulosin before bedtime, the other 360 mg pumpkin seed oil twice daily Although the decrease in IPSS from baseline to 1 month and 3 months was significantly greater in the tamsulosin group compared to the pumpkin group (P 0.048 and P 0.020, respectively), the decrease in IPSS from 1 to 3 months was similar (P 0.728).

Overactive bladder

The results from our study indicate that pumpkin seed oil extracts from C. maxima as well as C. pepo are effective for urinary disorders such as OAB in humans.

POSOLOGY: Recommended oral dose of 1 5 ml internally for the maintenance of general health.
