Cacay oil is a 100% pure organic, vegan and non-irritating nut oil. It is cultivated and harvested through wild collection and is considered an essential anti-aging ingredient. The valuable and exclusive oil is extracted by cold pressing.

Cacay Oil contains twice as much vitamin E and linoleic acid as argan oil and three times as much retinol as rose hip seed oil. Regular use of Cacay oil effectively improves the moisture, firmness and elasticity of the skin. Ideal for all skin types.

"How did you come up with the idea for this product?

The idea for Plainly was born in Munich in early 2018. While looking for sustainable and premium cosmetic products, Plainly’s founder couldn't find any plastic-free, organic and high-quality products. .Most products were offered in recycled plastic packaging and not in glass. Dissatisfied with the superficial sustainability that seemed to thrive everywhere, the decision was made to found Plainly and make things better.

What makes your product special?

Plainly products are the pinnacle of style, substance and sustainability. Plainly uses the choicest organic ingredients. The formulas are simple, yet highly curated and based on the latest dermatological research. Every ingredient is there to enhance the natural functions of the skin. All products are developed with dermatologists, vegan, organic and free from animal cruelty. Plainly avoids any use of silicones, parabens, sulfates, micro plastic, synthetic fragrances and dyes. It is 100% Made in German.

What has been the best part of your experience?

During the last 1.5 years, we had to deal with many hurdles from concept to production. From the outset, the goal was to avoid plastic and create the most sustainable packaging for beauty products. One unexpected challenge was the need to optimize the formulations of our hand cream to reach the perfect texture so that it can be pumped from a glass bottle. We have not given up and are convinced that we can redefine the environmental standards of the beauty industry. For this, we will continue to develop remarkable beauty products and create valued partnerships with like-minded organizations.
