New favorite addition to my showers, 100% better than a loofah. I love that there are two sides you can use - the bristle one (super soft, feels great) and the harder bumpier one. It lathers well, is easy to rinse off, and I feel so much cleaner than I ever did using a loofah or washcloth. I've got some keratosis pilaris on the backs of my arms and legs and after using this brush just 3 or 4 times, I've noticed that it has cleared up considerably. No more loofahs!It is true it doesn't suds up as much as a loofah does but it does still suds up. This is also piercing friendly! Great Loofah Alternative.Wanting to use less plastic, I bought this to replace my loofah. I use it with liquid body wash and bar soap and it works well. It foams up pretty well, although I find it works best with bar soap. You need to use more body wash than with a loofah to achieve the same amount of foam. It is a very gentle exfoliation when used on the body. Great for sensitive skin and arthritic hands. I have arthritis and a lot of rinsing and wringing of other loofah, poofs, etc hurt my hands. This one is very easy to rinse, easy to hold, and is also gentle on my sensitive skin. I was afraid the silicone wouldn't hold the shower gel very well. This is the best exfoliating body scrubber ever. I was able to put body wash directly on the long bristles and lather up my entire body with it. Then on areas that needed a little extra TLC (like elbow or heels) I simply flipped it over and use the other side, still not having to reapply the body wash. This definitely provides more suds for longer than a loofah with the same amount of body wash, and even though it is softer on my skin, I still feel like it's getting me as clean. so you'll save money over time and reduce the amount of loofahs in the trash! it's lightweight.
