Dies sorgt dafür, dass die Füllung nicht verrutscht und je nach Anwendung die Wärme bzw. Kälte gleichmäßig auf die gesamte Fläche des Kissens verteilt ist. Das Kissen kann im Backofen oder der Mikrowelle erwärmt werden. Eine Erwärmung auf niedrige Temperaturen ist auf der Heizung oder einfach in der Sonne möglich. Das Kühlen des Kissens kann im Kühl- bzw. Gefrierschrank vorgenommen werden. Für das Wärme- und Kälte-Therapiekissen werden ausschließlich Baumwollstoffe verarbeitet.
