These very small dogs, weighing under 4 kg, make up a very large and important part of the MINI family. Despite their weak physical structure, their strong character allows them to adapt perfectly to city life. X-SMALL breed dogs are always full of energy. For their health, they should be fed a balanced diet of three meals a day and avoid snacks between meals.

Rapid and intensive growth period

At birth, an X-SMALL puppy weighs only a few hundred grams. Growth is quite rapid in the first three months. Then, it enters a second, slower growth phase that lasts up to 10 months. For a healthy adulthood, it needs to be fed a balanced and rich diet during these first months of life.

HEALTHY INTESTINAL TRANSITION

Very small breed dogs are prone to constipation. A balanced fiber intake (psyllium content) facilitates intestinal transit and, thanks to its highly digestible proteins, contributes to healthy stool formation.
