An antihypertensive, sedative, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulant, cardiac, and tonic agent. It is used to normalize blood pressure (low blood pressure increases, high blood pressure decreases), for nervous system disorders and cardiovascular neuroses, heart failure, and stimulates the gonads and hormonal system. It also treats prostate adenoma and lung diseases. Directions for use: Pour 200 ml of water over 1 tablespoon of crushed fir bark, bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Let it brew for about an hour, strain, and add boiled water to make up to 200 ml. Take 1/4 of the decoction orally, 4 times daily, 30 minutes before meals.

Применяется для нормализации артериального давления (пониженное повышает, высокое снижает), при расстройствах нервной системы и сердечно - сосудистых неврозах, сердечной недостаточности, активизирует работу половых желез и гормональной системы, при аденоме предстательной железы, болезнях легких. Способ приготовления и применения: 1 ст. ложку измельченной коры пихты залить 200 мл воды, довести до кипения и выдержать на слабом огне в течение 5-7 минут. Настоять около часа, процедить, долить кипяченой водой до 200 мл. Принимать внутрь по 1/4 части отвара, 4 раза в день за 30 минут до еды.
