What is Menengiç coffee? Menengiç, a member of the mastic tree family that grows in sweet Anatolia, is a seed-bearing fruit. Spices, snacks, soap, and Menengiç coffee are made from this fruit.

The name varies from region to region.

In the Akseki and Manavgat districts of Antalya, it is called çögre or çiglak instead of terebinth in regions like Burdur and Isparta, it is called çitlik and in regions like Hatay and Antakya, it is called bittim. Pistachio coffee is a very healing beverage thanks to the oils it contains.
