Absolutely Digestible Product for Birds
Birds have behavioral and or nutritional needs for ingesting soluble grit. Birds living far from the wild require specially selected natural products. Specially ground oyster shells, naturally occurring soil, and red clay granules, specially formulated for all caged and aviary birds, are fully digestible and provide a natural source of calcium that all caged birds need. Throughout the year, Tepe pot provides young birds with a rich source of calcium for strong bones and optimal growth.
Clay, natural soil, and heat-treated mussel shells obtained from Anatolian soil are mixed in a healthy ratio for optimal benefits. It provides additional minerals that may be lacking in a routine diet. It has the capacity to absorb toxic secondary compounds commonly found in plant foods, protecting the gastrointestinal tract from chemical and biological irritation, thus helping to counter gastrointestinal disease. It raises the pH factor in the digestive tract to improve health and resist disease. It combines the detoxifying benefits of red clay and natural soil with calcium. One of the primary benefits of red and other clays, especially montmorillonite clay, which has a superior ability to absorb toxins, is its ability to counteract dietary toxins by binding toxic chemicals and bacteria. It can act as an antacid, protecting the intestinal lining from corrosion. This alone improves food intake by protecting the gastrointestinal tract from chemical and biological irritation. It MUST be used fresh regularly for perching, chewing, and chopping activities. Birds that have not used PeakPOT before are less inclined to consume the product in the first few minutes. After exploring the product, they may consume it extensively for the first time.
USE: Birds should have access to the product they need. Offer the product in its own container. Replace with a clean, fresh container every few days or according to use. Discard any unused portion if soiled. Do not mix this product with salt, pepper, or other ingredients. Always ensure that plenty of clean, fresh water and food are available. It has no adverse effects on humans, animals, or the environment. In case of any unexpected situations, consult a veterinarian. The production and recommended use-by dates (TETT) are on the packaging.
