This dressing requires and additional secondary dressing to absorb the excess exudate passing though the dressing if using on ulcers for example. We recommend our own super absorbent dressing called Sorbex for this purpose, available on . There is sufficient tack for the dressing to remain in place, conforms well to awkward areas and prevents pain on removal. Comfortable to wear. 100% open mesh design, distributes wound exudate fast and evenly. Pain free removal without stripping of epidermal cells. Dressing measures 5x7.5cm and there are 5 sterile, individual dressings per pack. Silicnet is designed for the management of dry to heavy exuding wounds, skin tears, surgical wounds, partial thickness burns, leg and foot ulcers and skin abrasions including blistering and lacerations. Silicnet silicone wound contact dressing is an open mesh, soft silicone wound contact layer that allows exudate to pass through to the secondary dressing (not supplied). This dressing has no absorbency features.
