Common Questions

How do you use the SnapIT ampoule opener?

Guide the ampoule neck into SnapIT until you hear a snatch, leverage the cylinder with low effort against the marking, then press the output rod down to discard the ampoule head.

What sizes of ampoules does this opener work with?

It is designed for glass ampoules from 1 to 15 ml; ampoule size in ML should be used as a guide due to different geometry of ampoule covers.

Can the SnapIT opener be sterilized?

The aluminum model can be sterilized or autoclaved.

Why use an ampoule opener instead of breaking ampoules by hand?

Open ampoules have sharp edges at break points that cause serious cutting injuries; the SnapIT opener prevents these injuries by safely containing and removing the broken head.
