Licorice is used for inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, acute respiratory infections, gastritis with high acidity, stomach and duodenal ulcers, inflammation of the bladder, kidneys, and early and late toxicosis of pregnancy.

Preparation: 1 tablespoon (5 sticks) per glass of boiling water, boil for 10 minutes.
