Our cold-pressed linseed oil is obtained from the seeds of the castor oil plant, which is a quality agricultural product, by cold pressing method (without any thermal or chemical processing). Although there are no additives in our production, there is no dilution. It is definitely not a mixture It is 100 castor oil.

Castor oil:

The oil obtained from the seeds is a colorless to pale yellow oil with a slight odor, low fluidity and a dense structure. It is easily soluble in alcohol. Since the oil is difficult to digest, it is not used as cooking oil. It is widely used in medicine.

Castor oil is one of the few oils found in nature that consists of very pure glycerin. However, the toxic substance (Ricin Alkaloid) found in the protein of castor oil can cause poisoning in humans and animals.

There are many areas where castor oil is used. Many of its products are used, from its yellowish or colorless oil to its seeds and pulp.

Although the amount of oil in its seeds varies under different conditions, it is generally between 35-55 . Among the oil components, ricinoleic acid and oleic acid are the most abundant fatty acids with 84–91 and 3.1–5.9 , respectively. The composition of the seed contains 50-60 crude oil, 10-17 crude protein, 5-11 nitrogen-free extracts, and 3-4 ash.

To avoid losing such beneficial ingredients, no chemicals are used. Our products contain only castor oil. Good agricultural certified products are used. No chemicals such as process shorteners, diluents, colorants or thickeners odor enhancers are used. It is 100 castor oil.

The Importance of Cold Pressing Method in Vegetable Oils:

Castor oil plant contains rich fatty acids and other valuable compounds. For these reasons, the first priority in vegetable oil production is to minimize the loss of beneficial content. In the cold pressing method, there is no loss of content since no heat treatment is applied, only physical processing.

Compounds such as antioxidants, phenolic compounds, phosphatides, carotenoids and phytosterols in the oils obtained by this method can be prepared for use without any change. Thus, in cases where the human body cannot produce itself or supplements are required due to the scarcity of some substances, the safest source we can use is oils obtained by cold pressing method.

As Tayf Herbal, our own oils do not apply any chemical processes such as coloring, acid removal, odor removal addition. No dilution-mixing process is performed. After the seeds are put into the cold pressing machine, whatever they give us, we bottle them and send them to you.

For our oils, which are of the highest purity that a cold-pressed castor oil can be, we use only almonds that we procure from producers with good agricultural certificates. We obtain only high quality oils from only high quality seeds.
The products are taken into resting tanks as they come out of the pressing machine. In these tanks, it is filtered and bottled directly after the natural sedimentation-sediment separation process, without being subjected to any processing for at least 10 days. We deliver our 20, 50 and 100 ml oils to you in dark amber colored bottles with internal droppers.
None of our products contain parabens, sulfates, SLES, SLS, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes and preservatives.
Stainless chrome-steel material suitable for food production is used at every stage of the production line.
Since our castor oil is obtained by cold pressing method, the castor oil plant has a unique color and a very dense consistency. It also has a unique castor oil plant scent. The color and smell of our oil may vary depending on the batch produced, even though we only use good agricultural certified products. Changes in the climate and soil in which the plant grows and the drying conditions (again, depending on changes in climate) may vary.

Shelf Life and Storage Conditions:

The shelf life of our products is 2 years. Since oils are sensitive to heat and light, all our varieties are available in dark colored bottles. At room temperature Keep it closed and away from light.
