The renowned "Dragon Fountain" tea is a premium green tea cultivated in the hills around Longjing, near Hangzhou, China. Legend has it that a dragon was carved nearby during a prolonged drought. Monks prayed to the dragon, and soon after, rain fell, refilling the fountains and reservoirs. This is why the tea is made from the Dragon Fountain tea. The delicate notes of the green tea are enhanced by fresh, grassy aromas. A unique feature of this tea, in addition to its exceptional taste, is its special processing method, which protects the ingredients: to prevent fermentation, the freshly harvested tea leaves are gently heated in pans, preserving the various beneficial components (such as antioxidants) and maintaining a fresh flavor.
