As the only female tattoo artist in the US at the time, the media rapidly took notice of Joyce Bordelon and her business in articles in MS Magazine, LA Times, etc. She designed all of the tattoos based on the most popular client's requests and also patented temporary tattoos in the US, which were sold wholesale in the US and Europe. Later on, it became the California Tattoo Factory, the largest producer of custom temporary tattoos in the world.
