Thalia Post-Epilation Body Care Gel Cream is a solution to permanently reduce unwanted body hair thanks to its innovative formula designed with Gymnemic acid active contained in natural plant extract. By affecting the hair roots, it offers a solution for both extending the hair regrowth period and reducing hair thickness. A smooth appearance is achieved after epilation with gymnemic acid's significant inhibition of hair follicle activity, slowing down hair growth and reducing the amount of hair.
Thalia After-Epilation Gel Cream is produced with a special formula developed with support from the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) R D, Product Development and Innovation Program (Project No: 2021-693-55).
The project, which was completed with the support of KOSGEB as a result of approximately 5 years of optimization work in Akten Kozmetik San.ve Paz. As. R D unit, stands out with its feature of being the first to use gymnemic acid content in a hair-reducing product formulation in Türkiye.
The effectiveness of the product was evaluated by conducting application test, dermatological test, satisfaction survey and microbiological analyzes on a product basis.
Its specially developed formula was dermatologically tested on 20 female volunteers between the ages of 21-65 (Report No: 00225-PIM22) and it was proven that it is suitable for use even on sensitive skin.
After the reports from the dermatological and application tests, the use of the hair reducing gel after epilation was evaluated on female individuals between the ages of 25-45 for 28 days within Akten Kozmetik San. ve Paz. A.S. and a satisfaction survey was conducted about the product. According to the answers given by the volunteers, product performance was evaluated as a percentage and it was determined that a positive effect of 70 was observed.
The application test of the hair reducing gel after epilation was analyzed in an external laboratory. This test was conducted to confirm the declared product functions and to evaluate the application properties. The volunteers participating in the study were informed about the conditions of use of the tested product. According to the application test report, the product confirms the properties declared by the manufacturer. The application procedure of the product is as follows.
• Female volunteers between the ages of 18 and 45, with brown to dark hair, and white skin type who shave their legs used both the product and the placebo for 28 days, and then the shaved areas were imaged and hair density was examined.
The microbiological analyzes were performed in the Microbiology Laboratory of Akten Kozmetik San. ve Paz. A.S. according to the methods specified in ISO standards. In microbiological analyzes,Staphylococcus aureus, Aerobic mesophilic bacteria,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Candida albicans,Escherichia coli, yeast and mold microorganisms were examined. The product, whose microbiological analyzes and stability process have been completed, is ready for sale.

Gymnema sylvestreis a plant rich in herbal components, mostly spread in central and western India, tropical Africa and Australia.G. sylvestre's antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory activities are due to gymnastic acid. At the same time, it has a reduction in the amount of hair and shedding activity in topical application.
Panthenol:
Panthenol, which has anti-inflammatory properties, helps create a barrier by protecting the skin.
Glycerin:
is useful in eliminating dryness.
Product Usage:
Apply a sufficient amount of product to the area where hair is removed with waxing, laser epilation, epilator, depilatory cream, etc. by massaging. Does not require rinsing. Suitable for face and body use by adults. For the most effective result, a 28-day cure is recommended to be applied once a day, and continuous use is recommended for a permanent effect. Regular and sufficient use is effective in the performance of the product.
