Although coffee production began in the 1700s, for a long time Peruvian coffee was consumed only in its domestic market. In the late 1800s, leaf mold spread to arabica trees in Indonesia, damaging coffee plants and reducing coffee production. Unable to meet European market demand, a search began among other producing countries, and Peruvian coffee was discovered! Today, it is one of the world's leading arabica coffee exporters. Coffee producers in Peru typically have small farms and are members of cooperatives.

Our coffee beans, sourced from the Cajamarca region of Peru, are grown at altitudes above 1,300 meters, earning them the "SHB" classification, meaning "Strictly Hard Bean." Additionally, they are classified as Grade 1. They are a product of complex, aromatic, and superior-quality beans.
