What's the Difference Between Ceremonial Grade Matcha and Regular Matcha?
Ceremonial Grade Matcha is a premium tea used in Japanese tea ceremonies and is produced from the highest quality Tencha leaves. Produced in limited quantities, this tea has a brighter, more vibrant green color and a mild, slightly sweet flavor. Regular matcha, on the other hand, is of a more standard quality, can be paler in color, and is generally stronger and more bitter in flavor.
Matcha Tea Suggestion:Mix 1 teaspoon (2 grams) of matcha powder with 80 ml of water at 60-70 C (140-160 F). Whisk the mixture with a bamboo whisk until frothy. You can add milk and sweeten with honey if desired.
Matcha Storage Conditions:Matcha should be stored in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. You can store matcha in the refrigerator to keep it fresh longer.
