Founded in 2002, the Tokat Province Beekeepers Association has 500 active members.

Our members produce the most healing honey, pollen, and other bee products for you and your loved ones in the most beautiful plateaus across our 12 districts.

We package these valuable products produced by our producers under healthy and hygienic conditions in an effort to deliver them to you, the consumer, in their most natural form.

Chestnut honey is a type of honey obtained from the nectar collected by bees from the flowers of chestnut trees during a specific period.

This honey, which we can obtain thanks to the intensive work of the bees in June when the chestnut trees begin to bloom, is considered among the more valuable honeys because it is produced in smaller quantities than many other flower honeys.

Easily distinguishable from the classic flower honeys available on the market thanks to its darker color and thicker consistency, chestnut honey is, as you might expect, mostly found in Bursa, as well as in areas with a Black Sea climate, such as Kastamonu, Artvin, Ardahan, and Rize, where chestnut trees form a forest-like forest.

It has a slightly astringent and bitter taste and is easily recognizable by its unique scent.

Kestane bali, arilarin kestane agacinin belirli bir döneminde bu agacin çiçeklerinden topladiklari özlerden elde edilen bir bal türü.

Kestane agaçlarinin çiçeklenmeye basladigi haziran ayinda yogun bir sekilde çalisan arilar sayesinde elde edebildigimiz bu bal, diger birçok çiçek balina göre daha az üretilebildiginden daha degerli ballar arasinda sayiliyor.

Daha koyu renkli ve koyu kivamli olmasi sayesinde piyasada bulabileceginiz klasik çiçek ballarindan kolayca ayirt edebileceginiz kestane bali, tahmin edebileceginiz gibi ülkemizde en çok Bursa'da, bunun yani sira da kestane agaçlarinin neredeyse bir orman gibi oldugu Kastamonu, Artvin, Ardahan ve Rize gibi Karadeniz ikliminin hakim oldugu yerlerde bulunuyor.
