ELBOWPAD ROLLER DERBY 3.0

The Roller Derby 3.0 Elbowpad is a revolution in derby-specific armour, featuring a stitched, high-density PE cap for maximum protection and our unique snag-free double-layer Velcro 360° strap closure. This ergonomic pad has an easy to wear slip-on construction that is secured by top and bottom blind closure Velcro straps to avoid snagging on other players. Its pre-shaped, internal multi-layer EVA foam provides surround cushioning from slams and hard blocks, while the PE cap delivers added shock resistance and friction-free slide that won’t trash derby tracks. WHY WE MADE IT

• The Elbowpad Roller Derby 3.0 took some time to develop. Roller Derby players have a lot of falls and it was not easy to develop a pad which is comfortable but also robust enough to withstand such use.
• After many tests we have found that a sewn on cap works best.
• We also looked for the best thread to use. We tested many different types and cotton thread has proved to be the best.
• This pad has a butterfly strap system for ease of adjustment.
• On the inside of the pad we have additional silicone prints so that the pad holds even better at the elbow and does not slip.
• As the special straps system can be adapted to the length we have no excess strap and they can be additionally secured with an over tab velcro closure.
• We use thick EVA foam on this pad to protect the roller derby users.
• Furthermore the outer material is extra strong so that the pad does not break when sliding on your elbows.
• Like all Skatepads this pad is Horseshoe shaped inside which prevents the pad from slipping off the elbow too quickly.

• Pre-shaped design - Our pre-shaped body protection comes with a pre-bended articulated design for unrestricting wearing comfort and superior fit.

• Horseshoe shape - Our custom Horseshoe shape that greatly surrounds knees, elbows or shoulders. The compression-moulded foam pad with a raised top part sits perfectly around your protected joints. This shape minimizes shifting and down-sliding to keep your pad in place during action.
• Top/Bottom velcro 360° strap
• Double-layer velcro - A flap with double-layered Velcro firmly locks the end of the strap to avoid straps sticking out.
• Pull-over design - Pull up and fix straps for the most secure and shift-free fit and wearing comfort.
