VETZABOTA shampoo with chlorhexidine 5% is prescribed to dogs and cats for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for bacterial (superficial and deep pyodermatitis), fungal (malaceziosis and dermatophytosis), mixed and atopic lesions of the skin and its derivatives.

Chlorhexidine is a dichlorine-containing biguanide derivative with a pronounced antimicrobial effect, active against vegetative forms of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, as well as yeast, dermatophytes and lipophilic viruses.

The mechanism of action of chlorhexidine is the interaction with phosphate groups on the surface of the bacterial cell, resulting in a shift in osmotic balance, disruption of the integrity and death of the cell.

After washing with shampoo, the residual bactericidal effect on the skin lasts up to 24 hours.

Шампунь VETЗАБОТА с хлоргексидином 5 % назначают собакам и кошкам с лечебной и профилактической целью при бактериальных (поверхностных и глубоких пиодерматитах), грибковых (малацезиозах и дерматофитозах), смешанных и атопических поражениях кожи и её производных.

Хлоргексидин является дихлорсодержащим производным бигуанида, обладает выраженным противомикробным действием, активен в отношении вегетативных форм грамотрицательных и грамположительных бактерий, а также дрожжей, дерматофитов и липофильных вирусов.

Механизм действия хлоргексидина заключается во взаимодействии с фосфатными группами на поверхности бактериальной клетки, вследствие чего возникает смещение осмотического равновесия, нарушение целостности и гибель клетки.

После мытья шампунем остаточное бактерицидное действие на коже сохраняется до 24 часов.
