The unique combination of mebendazole and praziquantel provides a broad spectrum of action against all stages of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing dogs and cats.
Mebendazole is a benzimidazole carbamate derivative with nematocidal and cestocidal action, the mechanism of which consists in preventing the synthesis of cellular tubulin, disrupting glucose utilization and inhibiting ATP formation in helminths.
Praziquantel belongs to the group of pyrazinoisoquinolines and is active against mature and immature forms of tapeworms, including Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp., and Dipylidium caninum.
By increasing the permeability of helminth cell membranes for calcium ions, it causes a generalized contraction of the parasite's muscles, which progresses to persistent paralysis, leading to the death of the helminth.
It is prescribed to dogs and cats for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis), cestodiasis (dipylidosis, taeniasis, echinococcosis, uncinariosis) and mixed helminthiasis.
Quantum is used once, in the morning feeding with a small amount of food, without a preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives, at a dose of 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, for dogs weighing 40 kg or more - 4 tablets
In case of a high degree of infestation of animals, the treatment is repeated after 14 days, for prophylactic purposes - quarterly, and also 7-14 days before vaccination.

назначают собакам и кошкам с профилактической и лечебной целью при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскаридоз), цестодозах (дипилидоз, тениидоз, эхинококкоз, унцинариоз) и смешанных гельминтозах.
Квантум применяют однократно, в утреннее кормление с небольшим количеством корма, без предварительной голодной диеты и применения слабительных средств, в дозе 1 таблетка на 10 кг массы животного, для собак массой от 40 кг и более – 4 таблетки
При высокой степени инвазии животных обработку повторяют через 14 дней, c профилактической целью – ежеквартально, а также за 7–14 дней до вакцинации.
