The WaiveDx XYL test strips are used to detect the presence of XYL in liquids and powders. XYL is a potent opioid analgesic and sedative used in veterinary medicine to control postoperative pain and facilitate anesthesia in various species. It is a Schedule IV drug in the US and is only available with a prescription. XYL has a wide range of veterinary applications, including as an analgesic, sedative, and anxiolytic, and has become a popular drug of abuse among humans. XYL has become incregly used as a cutting agent in substanes that naloxone has no effect on. Therefore, it is important to ensure that XYL hasn't been used as a cheaper cutting agent.
