Dark patchouli and sweet orange essential oil. For all of our patchouli heads out there - this new aroma is a wild fantasy ride. Leaves n'Twigs is a bar comprised of lots of other soap pieces but the aroma is dark patchouli and sweet orange. The time we used real nettle leaf for natural color. Oh... and we went a little nuts on the dark patchouli, too.

There are two kinds of patchouli essential oil and we chose the aroma described as rich and distinctly woodsy, herbaceous and musky. Patchouli essential oil has a satisfying, earthy quality. It is helpful to energetically “ground” a person. Let's just say that we did not skimp on our patchouli in this version of Leaves n'Twigs.

Patchouli essential oil aids the spirit by means of constructing a cohesive connection between the soul, body, and mind, as well as centering the spiritual alertness within the body.

We heard from the patchouli lovers out there and created our new version of Leaves n'Twigs to satisfy that special craving.

Leaves n'Twigs has no leaves or twigs inside the bars. The pattern was inspired by our afternoon walks through the Waterfall Glen forest preserve.

We use natural colors like nettle leaf for green, mica powders, activated charcoal, zinc powder and always tons of essential oils. Our patchouli and sweet orange batch is rich with Dead Sea salt, too.

We are always researching new ways to make our soaps better for you and healthier for our planet. For example, our current oil blend uses RSPO organic, sustainable palm oil that's protecting the native animals and people where palm oil is harvested. RSPO teaches the locals how to harvest sustainably and protect the environment for the future.

Sustainable palm oil. There's regular palm oil producers that are wiping out the rainforest at a rate of 300 football fields a month. You can see the deforestation from space. Then there's RSPO sustainable palm oil and that is the only palm oil we use. They only work with farmers and producers who pledge sustainability in their fields and they work with the locals not some big corporation. That's they key to sustainability. One palm tree at a time. Our soap bars are a hefty 6.2ounces. We tell everyone, including our family to cut our soap bars into smaller pieces. This makes them last longer. All vegan ingredients. All vegan ingredients and enhanced with Dead Sea salt - proven natural skin therapy. Dead Sea salt, or, rather any salt, squeezes out the excess water left over in the bar after saponification. The excess water in the bar is what makes them soft and dissolve faster. That's why we ask our customers to keep their bars dry inbetween uses. A dry bar lasts longer.
