Hey y’all! Yaupon Teahouse + Apothecary is based in Savannah, Georgia, and we want to give you a true southern experience. We love sweet tea so much we could bathe in it, and we do!

This generous 4 oz bar is designed for hand and body wash, and it looks great by the kitchen sink or in the shower. Crafted with all natural ingredients, our Sweet Tea Bar Soap is gentle, stimulating, and softening.

Ingredients: Saponified Oils (Olive, Coconut, Avocado, Shea Butter, Castor Bean), Yaupon Tea, Eucalyptus, Spearmint.

The 1st Yaupon Research Farm

Replanting efforts are underway to maintain the iconic southern Long Leaf Pine tree which once created the most diverse bio-ecosystem in North America. By leaving the wild Yaupon under the Long Leaf Pines, both native species flourish and provide a sustainable and environmentally clean model for our Yaupon supply chain.

Our Farm And Facilities

The 1st Regenerative Yaupon Farm

On our Regenerative Yaupon Farm, wild Yaupon and native Long Leaf Pine trees grow harmoniously. Our Regenerative Agra-Forestry model eliminates the typical timber management practices of using herbicides and burning. We hope to help the environment, support wildlife and heal the soil. The Long Leaf Pines also provide shade from the harsh sun that Yaupon appreciates. Our farm model also promotes wildlife habitat and several endangered butterflies.

Some of the local impacts of this farm include:

Job creation and living wages in rural communities
Creating protocol for growing a wild, native crop for rural farming communities
Partnering with the American Indian College Fund, to which Yaupon Teahouse charitably donates, and hopes to develop a scientific research based intern program and scholarship

About Yaupon Teahouse

In April 2019, Lou and Lori opened the flagship Yaupon Teahouse and Apothecary in Savannah, Georgia. Building on Lori’s herbalism and Lou’s Yaupon expertise, they developed teas and wellness products pairing Yaupon with other medicinal herbs and botanical plants. Each product uses organic, wild-crafted Yaupon grown on the business's own farms, carefully paired with other medicinal plants that synergize well with Yaupon.
