APPLICATION:

Topical application : Dilute with 5 drops of essential oil for every 50 ml of carrier oil.

2. You can spread the scent by dropping a few drops into water in a censer or electric diffuser for ambient scenting. You can increase or decrease the number of drops according to your preference, your water tank, and the type of your device or incense burner.

Carrier oils are unscented or slightly scented oils used to dilute essential oils before they are applied to the skin during Aromatherapy massage and other Aromatherapy treatments.

Carrier oils, also known as base oils, are usually mixed with an essential oil at a dilution of 0.5 to 5 for an adult however, the dilution depends on the type of essential oil, where the oil is applied, and the size and health of the person.

How to mix essential oils with a carrier oil

Whenever possible, purchase organic, cold-pressed carrier oils from a producer you trust. While most carrier oils are not likely to cause an allergic reaction, you should always do a patch test before using them.

To do a patch test:

Apply a small amount of carrier oil to the inside of your wrist or just below your ear.

Cover the oil with a bandage.

Check the area again in 24 hours.

If irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly and avoid further use.
