Topical application: Dilute with 5 drops of essential oil for every 50 ml of carrier oil.

Carrier oils are unscented or very slightly scented oils used to dilute essential oils before applying them to the skin during Aromatherapy massage and other Aromatherapy applications.
Carrier oils, also known as base oils, are usually mixed with an essential oil at a dilution of 0.5 to 5 for an adult however, the dilution depends on the type of essential oil, where the oil is applied, and the size and health of the person.
How to mix essential oils with a carrier oil
Whenever possible, purchase organic, cold-pressed carrier oils from a manufacturer you trust. While most carrier oils are not likely to cause an allergic reaction, you should always do a patch test before using them.
To do a patch test:
Apply a small amount of carrier oil to the inside of your wrist or just below your ear.
Cover the oil with a bandage.
Check the area again in 24 hours.
If irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly and avoid future use.
