Sarolaner, a compound of the isoxazoline group, is active against fleas, ixodid, sarcoptoid, psoroptoid and demodicosis ticks that parasitize dogs.

Sarolaner acts at the neuromuscular synapses of arthropods and inhibits the function of the neurotransmitter receptor, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and the glutamate receptor, causing uncontrolled neuromuscular activity, leading to the death of insects and ticks.

After oral administration, sarolaner is rapidly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract (bioavailability is >85%), enters the systemic circulation, reaching maximum concentrations in plasma in less than 3 hours, penetrates most organs and tissues, is practically not metabolized, and is excreted from the body unchanged, mainly with bile and feces, the half-life is 10-12 days.

Simparica is prescribed to dogs for the treatment and prevention of entomoses caused by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis), acaroses caused by ixodid (Dermacentor reticularis, Dermacentor variabilis, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes holocyclus, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes scapularis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Amblyomma americanum, Amblyomma maculatum), sarcoptic (Sarcoptes scabei), psoroptoid (Otodectes cynotis) and demodectic (Demodex canis) ticks.

Simparica is used in dogs at any time of the year, individually once orally from the hand, or mixed with food, or forcibly administered into the mouth at a minimum dose of 2 mg / kg of animal weight.

Food intake does not affect the bioavailability of sarolaner.

Ensure that the dog has completely swallowed the required dose.

Входящий в состав препарата сароланер - соединение изоксазолиновой группы, активно в отношении блох, иксодовых, саркоптоидных, псороптоидных и демодекозных клещей, паразитирующих на собаках. Сароланер действует в нервно-мышечных синапсах членистоногих и подавляет функцию рецептора нейромедиатора, гамма-аминомасляной кислоты (ГАМК) и глутаматного рецептора, вызывая неконтролируемую нейро-мышечную активность, приводящую к гибели насекомых и клещей.

После перорального введения сароланер быстро всасывается в желудочно-кишечном тракте (биодоступность составляет 85%), поступает в системный кровоток, достигая максимальной концентрации в плазме менее чем через 3 часа, проникает в большинство органов и тканей, практически не метаболизируется, выводится из организма в неизмененной форме, преимущественно с желчью и фекалиями, период полувыведения составляет 10-12 суток. Симпарику назначают собакам для лечения и профилактики энтомозов, вызываемых блохами (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis ), акарозов, вызываемых иксодовыми (Dermacentor reticularis, Dermacentor variabilis, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes holocyclus, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes scapularis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Amblyomma americanum, Amblyomma maculatum), саркоптоидными (Sarcoptes scabei), псороптоидными (Otodectes cynotis) и демодекозными (Demodex canis) клещами.

Симпарику применяют собакам в любое время года однократно индивидуально перорально с руки, или в смеси с кормом, или вводят принудительно в пасть в минимальной дозе 2 мг/кг массы животного. Прием корма на биодоступность сароланера не влияет. Следует убедиться в том, что собака полностью проглотила необходимую дозу препарата.
