HOW TO MAKE SAGE LEAVES TEA
Herbal Sage tea is so easy to make: all you need is the herb and boiling water. But to balance out that strong piney flavor, add a hint of fresh lemon juice and a little sweetener. Use a little drizzle of honey (or agave syrup for vegan).
Boil a pot of water
Add 2 sprigs of fresh sage.
Steep: Fill up a mug with the boiling water. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
Add sweetener & lemon: Add a hint of honey (or agave) and squeeze lemon juice from 1 wedge lemon. This step is required to get the best flavor, otherwise the sage is overpowering.
