For over 40 years, Auromère has been a leading importer of Ayurvedic body care products. What began as a small operation to help fund a residential spiritual community soon became one of the first companies to introduce Ayurveda to the US. Non-Profit Owned: Auromère is entirely owned by a non-profit Integral Yoga ashram in Northern California, and is run by members and volunteers of the ashram as part of their spiritual practice along with other staff. All proceeds from Auromère products support the upkeep and activities of the ashram, as well as other Integral Yoga efforts in the U.S. and India.

10% of all Auromère profit is dedicated to support the development and growth of the eco-conscious, international “City of Human Unity” in Auroville, South India — an ongoing experiment in the transformation of consciousness, sustainable living, and the future cultural, environmental, social and spiritual needs of humankind.

Cruelty-free pledge: Auromère is committed to providing natural, vegetarian body care products that are not tested on animals, and condemns the practice of cruelty to animals through drug and cosmetic testing. Over the years the Auromère brand has carried the seal of approval from the Humane Society, Beauty Without Cruelty, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and the “Leaping Bunny” logo of the CCIC (Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics).
