How to Wash A Synthetic Wig

Step 1. DETANGLE: Start from ends to decrease shedding.

Step 2. RINSE: Use lukewarm water and rinse from root to ends.

Step 3. SHAMPOO: Loosen shampoo in your hands and work through the hair(Use circular motions to clean the cap).

Step 4. CONDITIONER: Spray leave-in conditioner from the mid-shaft to the ends.

Step 5. RINSE: Squeeze and press the hair; do not wring(Towel blot to remove excess water).

Step 6. DRY: Air dry on a wig stand(Gently part the hair with a comb before wig dries).

Wig Care Tips:

1. After wearing the long synthetic wig, comb it with special wig care solution. If the wig becomes dry and messy or the curling effect fades, you should spray the wig care solution 1-2 times. Spray a small amount of wig care solution on hair tips at a distance of 15-25cm away from the barbie wig, gently comb from hair tips and restore the hair style. The inner side of the wig may get tangled easily, please comb it carefully.

2. If the wig tangles into a hard knot, please comb gently. If the knot cannot be untied, you should cut off the knot directly with scissors. This will not affect the overall look of the cosplay wig.

3. If you wear the full wig on a regular basis, you should wash it every 7-15 days. In general, you should wash your wig after every 20 wearings.

4. Avoid using gel water, hair wax or other styling agents on the wig; otherwise, the wig will become sticky.

5. You can style the heat resistant wig with an electric curling iron or hair straightener(just make sure the temperature below 120).

6. The wig can be dyed, but it is not recommended. For one thing, the synthetic hair wig does not have any hair cuticle that can maintain the color for a long time, the color will fade quickly; for another thing, the hair dye paste is hard to wash off once it stains the wig's inner net.
