Making outstanding, handcrafted nut oil is an expertise that is part art, part science.


1. GRIND The nut kernels are ground into a paste using a mill. It's important to grind the nut so when it comes time to roast, the nuts receive a more full-bodied toasted flavor than if the nuts were whole.	2. ROAST The ground kernels are then toasted using cast iron kettles. This low heat and time-consuming process takes special skills to bring out the aromatics and is the key to producing a delicious oil.	3. PRESS The roasted nut paste is then pressed using a hydraulic press. The pressure reaches up to 400 bars when the virgin oil slowly comes out.	4. FILTER The oil is then lightly filtered with natural cotton filters to remove any impurities and transferred to totes. The remaining nut by-product is used by local farmers as a sustainable way to feed cattle.
