ALEXES granulate paraffin is a great choice for candle making. The refined paraffin is odorless, of perfect white color, and provides clean and even burning.

You can make nearly all types of candles from our paraffin wax. Its melting point is around 140°F. This wax is ideal to be used for candles that need to stand on their own – votives, pillars, and other molded candles.

The net weight of unscented paraffin in this offer is 2 lb (900 g) which will be enough to make either:

2 cylinder candles 2.75 x 4.70 IN, or

6 spherical candles 2.55 IN in diameter, or

8 classic taper candles 11.8 IN high.

Like most waxes, our paraffin expands when heated. In the process of cooling, it shrinks back down to its original volume. This shrinkage usually causes a void down the core of the candle, as well as shrinking away from the mold (allowing it to be removed more easily). In order to eliminate this void, you will need to refill the mold with hot paraffin to fill in the shrinkage.
