Leucidal Liquid Radish Root Natural Alternative to Synthetic Preservative for Cosmetics. Add to your own DIY lotions, soaps, cosmetics, personal care, foundation, or shampoos for longer-lasting beauty products. It comes in 4 ounce white mini jug with a dropper lid for easy dispensing. 4 ounce size provides approximately 1/2 cup, 120 ml, or 1824 drops and is for those beginning to make lotions and skincare, plus an Instruction Guide.

Radish Root is a natural alternative to synthetic preservatives, which utilize radishes fermented with a lactic acid bacteria called Leuconostoc kimchi. Our safe, natural formula is approved by ECO-CERT for use with certified organic cosmetics. Leucidal Liquid is a chemical-free, mild, water-soluble preservative and may not fully protect against all contaminants. For best results with water-based products, use a stronger broad-spectrum preservative such as Leucidal Complete, Leucidal SF MAX, Linatural, or combine with Geogard 221 to adequately safeguard your formula.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Start with a 4.0% leucidal liquid concentration
• Monitor the interaction of Leucidal Liquid with other ingredients for compatibility
• Incorporate into formulations at a ph between 3 and 8, during the cooling phase at temperatures lower than 70°c. For best results, the end formula PH should be 4-5.5. Use lactic acid or sodium bicarbonate to adjust PH
• Complete recommended stability and challenge testing to ensure adequate preservation
