APPLICATION: Step 1: PREP your shoe by thoroughly cleaning the sole to ensure optimal adhesion. All areas of the shoe sole must be completely free from dirt, debris, oil, and moisture before proceeding. Step 2: TRACE and outline your shoe's sole onto the protector using a ballpoint pen or pencil. Step 3: CUT carefully along the inside of the traced outline, making the cutout slightly smaller than the outline to ensure an accurate fit. Step 4: PEEL the backing to expose the adhesive side. Step 5: APPLY by carefully aligning the cutout with the sole of your shoe, then firmly press it into place with your fingers. Continue applying firm pressure across the shoe sole, working from top to bottom to eliminate all air bubbles. PRO TIPS: #1 Trace your shoe sole on a single piece of paper, and practice carefully cutting along the inside portion of the outline using scissors, an exacto knife or a utility blade. #2 Use a mild cleaning solution, scrub the sole using a nylon brush to ensure all the groves are cleaned, then rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove residue. #3 Dry the sole using a clean cloth or hair dryer. Once the shoe sole is completely dry, use a clean, lint-free cloth with rubbing alcohol to wipe down the surface of the sole. #4 The product is best applied indoors while the air temperature is above 65 degrees Fahrenheit. #5 To maximize bonding, use a hair dryer to gently warm the sole while applying the product. #6 Quickly roll out any air bubbles using a firm cylindrical object like a pen or pipe. #7 Wait a few hours before wearing your newly protected shoes. #8 SoleShieldz’s SSP should be replaced on a regular basis to maintain proper protection.
