What is SprainGo Gel? The SprainGo Gel is our signature product made with RelieveIt pine rosin, a natural botanical anti-inflammatory that was first discovered in the late 1800’s in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago by Mother Skinner, grandmother to our company founder.
Mother Skinner was a community healer skilled in the practices of herbal medicine. She created healing remedies for acute injuries by blending the RelieveIt pine rosin with other plants and herbs on the island with known medicinal properties. The family remedy was rediscovered in 2014 after the son of our founder had an overnight recovery from an acute ankle sprain suffered during a pro soccer tryout. In 2019, the RelieveIt pine rosin was confirmed by scientists at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa as a new botanical anti-inflammatory drug discovery. In laboratory inflammation inhibiting testing the RelieveIt pine rosin outperformed CBD and diclofenac, a popular Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory (NSAID) used in topical pain relief products. You can find Mother Skinner’s remedy in the SprainGo Gel.
